The
San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of NAIOP was founded in 1989 and serves eight of the nine Bay Area Counties;
San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Sonoma, Napa, San Mateo and Solano. Our membership is comprised of
the Bay Area’s leading owner/developers and a wide variety of service providers. The chapter offers a full
calendar of educational programs on topical issues as well as social and networking events.
Additionally, the chapter’s Legislative Action Committee works in concert with NAIOP national, the NAIOP State
Council and our Sacramento representative, California Business Properties Association (www.cbpa.com),
as well as communicating with legislators at the local level, to voice the concerns and support of our membership
on legislative issues affecting our industry.
NAIOP is a national association with more than 12,500+ members and an extensive network of 50 chapters that
represent the interests of developers and owners of industrial, office and related commercial real estate
throughout North America. NAIOP provides communication, networking and business opportunities for all real
estate related professionals; provides a forum for continuing education; and promotes effective public policy,
through its grassroots network, to create, protect and enhance property values.
